Poly Mailers, Newspaper Bags, Header Bags, Plastic Bags and more!
I use plastic mailers all of the time. These mailers are much more reliable than the average paper envelopes or similar packaging. There have been many times when I had to walk to the post office to deliver a package or letter and it was raining cats and dogs outside. I would do my best to keep my packages dry but they would almost inevitably get wet on some or most of it. This would worry me to no end because once I hand over my package to the mail carrier, I have no guarantee it will stay in one piece throughout the course of its journey to its intended destination.
I find the plastic packaging on these mailers to be much more sturdy and dependable. There is less of a chance of moisture seeping into my letter or other important goods. The mailers are also harder to tear as opposed to normal, everyday envelopes. Mailers tend to have a lot more options in terms of how much can be placed inside. You can send both letters and objects inside a plastic mailer at the same time if you want.
Though I rarely send out letters and packages nowadays, mailers are my primary tool to send stuff to the people in my life.
