Shopping with Plastic Bags
I honestly do not know what I would do without plastic bags. They are just so convenient. This morning I went to this little corner store nearby and had planned to buy several items at once. After getting all that I needed and paying for them at the register, the cashier placed all of my stuff into a black plastic bag so I would not have to stuff my pockets or overload my hands. This is much better than paper bags.
For one thing, plastic bags have the convenient handholds built right into them. You can pack some if not all of the stuff you just bought into a single bag and carry it around easily thanks to this great feature. Very few paper bags have this and with the ones that do, the handholds will easily rip if you put a lot of weight into the paper bag. Another advantage plastic bags have, almost by accident, is that with so many stores giving you plastic bags you just have an abundance of them. With so many, you can reuse them whenever you go shopping; you can use them as garbage bags; and you can use them to organize your home and so on.
With this much you can do with bags, it is kind of hard to switch back to paper.
